Hi, I’m Ben — the DJ behind B-Jamin Music Services LLC. I’m a family-friendly, high-energy wedding and event DJ based in Montrose, proudly serving couples and celebrations across Central Minnesota. My specialty is creating smooth, intentional music flows that keep guests engaged from the first song of the night to the final send-off on the dance floor.
My approach to DJing is simple but effective: read the room, build the energy step by step, and make every moment feel natural and unforgettable. I focus on clean transitions, balanced playlists, and crowd-reading skills that allow the music to adapt in real time. Every audience is different, and my goal is always to keep everyone—from grandparents to the wedding party—having a great time.
I blend a wide range of music styles including country, pop, hip-hop, rock, throwbacks, and wedding classics. One thing I’m especially known for is my three-song country sets, which I often drop in before switching back to pop or hip-hop. It’s a simple technique that keeps both sides of the crowd happy and the dance floor consistently full. No two events ever sound the same because every playlist is carefully built for the couple and their guests.
Weddings are my specialty, and I take pride in helping couples create a smooth and stress-free celebration. I provide music and coordination for ceremony sound, cocktail hour, dinner playlists, grand entrances, first dances, parent dances, and the full reception dance experience. I also work closely with other vendors and follow your event timeline so everything flows seamlessly throughout the evening.
